GaPS collaborates with Universities in Brisbane
Marleen Easton spent a part of her Winter 2022 in Australia visiting The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University in Brisbane with three goals in mind. (1) She wrapped up her adjunct position at Griffith University (2017-2022) and explored future collaboration in the field of ‘Governing and Policing Security’. (2) She worked with Prof. Brian Head and dr. Jennifer Yarnold at the Centre for Policy Futures at The University of Queensland fostering the Strategic Institutional Partnership between UGent and UQ on the topic of ‘Knowledge Exchange’ and explored student exchange possibilities for our Faculty. https://policy-futures.centre.uq.edu.au/news (3) Collaboration with Prof. Melissa Bull at the Centre for Justice at Queensland University of Technology was strengthened on the research line ‘Innovation, Technology and Security’.
