Environmental Crime and its Victims - Delft

8 Oct 2012

17 and 18 September 2012 were heydays for ‘green criminologists’ because the international conference Environmental Crime and its Victims brought together criminologists, sociologists, environmental NGOS, policy makers and law enforcement to discuss practice and research about environmental crime and victimization. In the cozy town of Delft (the Netherlands), the keynote speakers and panel presentations gave a state of the art on theory and research on environmental crime and harm. Lieselot Bisschop presented her PhD research on illegal transports of e-waste and tropical timber. More information about the conference can be found on http://www.environmentalcrimeseminar.com/home.html and http://greencriminology.org/?p=941.
