Biography

Sigrid Wallaert is a master’s student in Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of Ghent University. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the same university, with Classical Tradition as a minor. She is writing her dissertation on the topic of “female rage,” with prof. dr. Tom Claes as her supervisor. In 2018 she completed an internship at the VRT, as online editor for Canvas Wereldbeeld, where she made the mini-series Hersenspinsters. Since September of 2017 she has been providing transcriptions for two research projects at GaPS as a student-assistant, both in Dutch and in English.
